Happy New Year has an implacable star cast in Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah. This is going to be SRK’s 11th (Yes, you read it right) Diwali mega release.

02. P.K : At the top Bollywood movies of 2014 is P.K. It can’t get bigger than this. Aamir Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani are reuniting once again after 3 idiots which is by far the most loved movie of Bollywood. Hirani has 100% success ratio as director and his movies are treat for one and all. With Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma and Shushant Singh Rajput supporting Aamir Khan, P. 03. Singham 2 : After the super success of ‘Chennai Express’, director Rohit Shetty is back with his favourite actor Ajay Devgan with the sequel of Singham. The addition of Kareena Kapoor to the cast has further raised the bar of expectations. The original movie has a huge recall value, as it is still screened multiple times on television every week and is considered to be one of Devgan’s finest performances in the last few years. The movie is expected to release on 15 Aug 2014 along with Kabir Khan’s Phantom.

04. Gunday : Ali Abbas Zafar has directed and written the upcoming Bollywood action movie Gunday, which is produced by Aditya Chopra. Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh will be featured in the lead roles in the movie while Irrfan Khan appears in a supporting role and Priyanka Chopra stars as the lead female and love interest of the two male characters. The film was released on 14 February 2014.

05. Jai Ho : One of the most anticipated movie of 2014 only because of presence of Salman Khan. For the first time in his 25 year career, Salman has seen a year go by without a release. ‘Jai Ho’ will mark the comeback of the superstar more than a year after his last release 'Dabangg 2'. Sohail Khan is on director’s seat after a long gap of 10 years.

06. 2 States : Chetan Bhagat and Sreerag Nambiar together penned the screenplay for the upcoming Bollywood drama movie 2 States, which is directed by Abhishek Varman and Sreerag Nambiar. The movie is actually based on Chetan Bhagat’s 2009 novel of the same name. The movie, which stars Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles, is expected to be released on 18th April 2014.

07. Bombay Velvet : This film is a produced and directed by Anurag Kashyap. The first film of a trilogy, as planned by Anurag Kashyap, Bombay Velvet is the story of how the city became a Metropolis, set against the backdrop of love, greed, violence and Jazz. Bombay Velvet stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma with Karan Johar, Raveena Tandon and Kay Kay Menon in lead roles. This film will be all released for the fans on 25th December 2014.

08. Action Jackson : Action Jackson is an upcoming Bollywood action movie Directed by Prabhudeva and Produced by Gordhan Tanwani under the banner Baba Films. Ajay Devgan's forthcoming film directed by Prabhudeva will be called 'Action Jackson'. We also hear that, the film has three girls. It is confirmed that Sonakshi Sinha and Yaami Gautam are already in but the third role, that of a hot girl, is still under the wraps. Action Jackson will be all set for the launch on 12th April 2014.

Jagga Jasoos : Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor are reuniting once again after Barfi as the movie turned out to be the biggest surprise hit's 2012! and this time with a detective drama to be called Jagga Jasoos. The two return in 2014 with ‘Jagga Jasoos’. The inclusion of Katrina Kaif to the starcast has further raised the prospects of this detective drama at the ticket window.

10. Holiday : Akshay Kumar can expect his stars to take a turn this year as he is coming with A.R. Murugadoss. Holiday is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster Thuppaki which was also directed by A.R. Murugadoss. There is going to be a long 8 month gap between this movie and Akshay Kumar’s last release ‘Boss’ which will surely bring his in-numerous die-hard fans in numbers to theatres.
